Condition:
The overall condition is very good structurally though there are several areas of wear throughout the case. The handle is most noticeably worn where it attaches to the hardware and the hardware, while still completely functional, is worn on each latch and lock plate. Each corner on both lid and case is worn to varying degrees. The lid is worn on the top right and left near the edge, with a black scrape on the top left and a wear spot on the bottom left near edge. There is a 3.5" gouge on the bottom of the case about midway along and the metal peg feet on both the bottom and back side are heavily scratched from use. The back lid hinges are separated from the lid but are still operational. The lid lining is in good repair though there is some wear at the hinges. The bottom of the case appears to be missing an insert tray as there is a built in lip on which one would sit. The leather lining is in good condition with some indentations and scrapes but no gouges or rips.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. All other condition issues are stated above. To request additional condition photos, please use the INQUIRE button or email
