each of bisected gourd form with a flat back and a straight foot supporting the finely potted slightly compressed body, with a raised medallion centered on each bulb, the larger depicting painted landscapes, the smaller calligraphy, each surrounded by opulent borders, all reserved against an olive-tone ground with multitudinous carved bosses and elegant scrolls.
