Each in overall fine and stable condition. Retaining a dark, rich surface. Old scuffs, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Each lacking decorative ornament to end of each scroll (one on each arm and one on the back). Each previously set on casters. Some losses to the edges of each, including the seat rails and the decorative carving to the feet.

Example A: The decorative foliate carved element at the top of the crestrail was previously cracked and reglued.

Example B: Each arm previously cracked and reglued at the junction with the seat rail and with scrolls at the end of the arms, visible from the front and back. A poplar rail has been added to the inside of each side rail. The proper front left leg was previously cracked and reglued just below the knee and at the ankle.
