An Unusual Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Archaistic Vase
青花龍紋賞瓶
The vase in an olive shape, densely decorated with archaic dragons and stylized floral motifs, all enclosed within bands of archaic cicada and lotus lappets motifs; the flat jade finial featuring silhouette of dragon and phoenix. Accompanied by letters and invoices from Warren Cox discussing the vase and its being turned into a lamp.
Vase height 17 1/4 in., 43.9 cm.
