A Japanese Mixed-Metal 'Rooster' Censer, Late Meiji Period
The globular body cast to the exterior in relief showing a rooster amongst floral blossoms, the recessed neck flanked by a pair of upright handles, all raised on a tiered base ending in three bracketed feet, the domed cover surmounted by a figural-form finial.
