Canvas is lined. Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust, with heavier deposits on the verso. Network of craquelures throughout the surface, with a few minor areas of lifting paint. Pinpoint paint losses in scattered areas, primarily concentrated around the edges. Areas of inpainting visible under close inspection. Under a highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: the thick varnish prohibits viewing of most apparent inpainting. Some small areas of inpainting are visible in the upper left of the background.
