Canvas is lined and margins are trimmed. Significant deposits of surface dirt and dust, with a whitish residue in scattered areas throughout. An approximately 14 in. horizontal craquelure extending from center left to center, as well as a horizontal line of inpainting extending from the center left to center right edge. Inpainting along all edges and in scattered areas throughout, visible under normal viewing conditions. Pinpoint paint losses to the figure in the lower right corner. Several small paint losses in the lower left quadrant. Under a thick, reflective varnish. Under UV light: the thick varnish makes it difficult to discern any apparent inpainting.
