The canvas has been relined and there is some evidence of restoration and varnish under UV light. The figure's face in particular has some inpainting. There are some minor scuff at the bottom of the canvas, and a few minor areas of loss to the surface around the extreme edges, for instance at bottom left and top right. The physical condition of lots in our auctions can vary due to age, normal wear and tear, previous damage, and restoration/repair.
