Women’s Work

The work was not examined out of its frame as all four edges of the board are visible through the plexiglass. In overall very good condition. We notice slight abrasions alongside the outer edges of the work, namely at upper right and bottom left corners, as well as at bottom center. Some of the elements of the collage showcase evidence of rippling, rubbing and losses. Some others also display staining and residue: such elements are all part of the artist's working technique. We notice that the corners of some of the triangles at bottom center left and right are sticking up, as part of the usual wear of the work. The glue left a shiny, glossy layer throughout. Apart from intrinsic collage issues, the work presents well: no evidence of major loss or repair. Additional images available upon request.
