*Colt 1911 with 1913 Slide and 1918 Frame

.45 ACP. 5" barrel length. SN: C103634. Blued metal refinish mounting diamond checkered laminated wood grips and polished trigger. Single action short recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. The slide is most likely 1913 vintage owing to early rounded sights, half-moon blade, and circled {Rampant Colt} to left slide behind the cocking serrations. Property mark to right slide has been ground off. Frame is a Black Army pattern with distinctive teardrop cuts, and a serial number dating to 1918, with C prefix indicating commercial production.
