Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The case with scattered minor nicks, scuffs and scrapes. The two front legs with small areas of fill. A few minute instances of missing veneer visible. Drawers and compartments open and close smoothly. The central cabinet of the upper portion of the desk with an area of fill where the marquetry inlay is at the center. There is a key which works in the upper compartments of the desk. There is no key for the lower drawers but they are all unlocked presently. The leather writing surface appears in overall good condition; sliding out to bring the surface closer to the sitter.
