Sturdy and ready to place condition overall. The top with age cracks, worm channels and some newer moisture rings and marks. The upper section's doors with replaced lock hardware. The lower section's doors seemingly with original or very old lock hardware, but replaced screws. One side of the lower section's interior with a modern shelf, the other side with modern pull-out drawers. Otherwise the cabinet seems to be in largely original condition. The doors of the upper section probably originally had hinges on the outside which are now removed (vacant holes visible on the outside). Repairs to the wood around the hinges on the lower section doors. Provenance is not known; from a U.S. collector who purchased at auction in the late 1990s; the same owner as lot 447 in this sale.
