The pair appearing in overall fair condition. Each can be sat upon comfortably. Scattered nicks, scuffs, and scrapes consistent with age and use. Splits along construction seams and rubbing to the finish. Upholstery is in fairly good condition with some fading to the seat cushions. One chair with small chips and loss to the spikes running along the dragons back of the chair. There is an area of restoration on the proper left side of the chair back and an age split on the proper right side. A section of fill on the proper right arm where it terminates. The proper right front leg with a repair and area of restoration to the knee and an age split on the proper right back leg. The second chair with glue residue in the carved dragons mouth on the chair back and rubbed sections on the top of the crest. There is a repair to the proper left side of the back. The proper left front leg has been repaired and reinforced at the knee with screws for stability. The proper left back leg with several splits. Additional images are available upon request.
