The garniture appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The metal is not bronze. The candelabra each with oxidation to the interior of the candle cups and rubbing to the gilt metal elements. The dial of the clock signed 'Grosseau A Paris'. The clock with rubbing to the gilt elements and surface grime in the recesses. The top of the lyre with loose connection which would benefit from repair. Several loose elements including the female figure's left arm and the book she holds. Seams from casting visible. There is small dent to the clock base which is noticeable upon close inspection. The pendulum is apparently associated. Both chambers take a wind and the hands can be manually advanced. The clock chimes on the hour and the half hour. Not tested for time keeping, duration, or accuracy and not examined by an horologist. Additional images are available upon request.
