Founded in 1968 on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, M. Gérard was a luxury jewelry house led by Louis Gérard. A master jeweler and gemologist, Gérard spent nearly twenty years at Van Cleef & Arpels developing his craft. Taking this experience into his own house, M. Gérard earned acclaim for its exquisite designs and high-quality gemstones. Notably, Gérard worked closely with André Vassort’s accomplished workshop to realize his extravagant creations. Although the firm closed in 1991, M. Gérard jewels continue to be highly collectible for their use of superb gems, exceptional craftsmanship, and elegant design.

Overall Condition: Light scratching throughout consistent with age and use. Some visible epoxy to the back of coral. One piece of carved coral appears to have pulled back from the metal slightly, but remains secure.
