the top surface with considerable sun-fading, with evidence of having round objects placed on top, with ghost marks evident; the top also with minor occasional scratches; three legs with repaired breaks, one at tip of foot, one having repaired breaks throughout bottom 75%, with an area of loss near sabot, and the third with repaired break at upper terminal / joint, this same leg coming loose from joint to base, but still attached; two legs with metal pins at ends, the other two legs not having those pins; with occasional losses and patches to veneer; the cleat to underside of top has been reinforced to spindle supports with later nails; with slight wobble; brass hardware would appear to be original or period
