stable and sturdy; the front left-facing leg with a crack near frame joint, and with a small repaired break to upper corner (piece not structural); the right-facing front leg with a couple minor age cracks; back left-facing leg with some scratching to interior edge, and the legs with some general occasional scuffing commensurate with age and use; the front brass casters appear to have later screws- probably reattached; the back legs have varying casters from the front examples, which also appear to have later screws; the underside dust cover has been removed for inspection- the chair has been sprung and exhibits modern fabric, with is mostly clean but has some mild wear to armrest ends
