H. Stern is a luxury Brazilian jewelry firm known for its sculptural designs, colorful gemstones, and hidden details. Founded by Hans Stern in 1945, a German Jewish immigrant, the company first gained notoriety for its use of under-exploited Brazilian gems, introducing its stones to the general market and bringing much of the jewelry industry to Latin America. Notable collections include collaborations with architect Oscar Niemeyer and designer Diane von Furstenberg. Today, H. Stern, run by Stern’s son Roberto, is recognized as one of the leading jewelers in Latin America, celebrated for its innovative and vibrant designs.

Overall Condition: Moderate scratching throughout consistent with age and use. Some abrasion to tanzanite. Tanzanite is slightly loose in mounting. Light wear to rhodium plating. Tanzanite measures approximately 10.35 x 8.20 x 6.05 mm.
