lined; with some subtle cracquelure commensurate with age; with some selective spots of retouching / inpainting, particularly to upper body of horse and with some areas along perimeter; UV light reveals some green fluorescence, along perimeters and left-facing corner, in particular- possibly indication of later applied varnish; upper center of painting with a couple slight abrasions or subtle tears which appear to have been touched up- to right of left pillar and to left of right pillar; frames appears to be old, with some minor occasional scuffs or losses to gilding or gesso commensurate with age
