single chair: repaired breaks at shoe / splat attachment, with scuffing / scraping to stiles / edges, reinforced joints- the bag legs with patched areas over re-pinned attachments, the back two corner blocks are replaced, the top of splat with separation at crestrail, old age cracks to front corners of seat frame, slip seat appears to be old, but with staple reinforcements to underside for stability, wear to feet; pair of chairs: chair 1 with messy hot glue repairs to some joints including crestrail / stile and splat attachments- the glue thickly applied, the splat with loss to one scrolled element and the crestrail with loss to front and backside, messy hot glue repair to through tenon along back right-facing side, all four support blocks replaced, front two corners of seat frame with age cracks, the feet with extensive wear and tear, including repaired breaks to left-facing front foot (with visible screw reinforcement), the right-facing front foot with rubbing and old loss along claws, slip seat appears to be old with later stable reinforcement, chair 2 with repaired breaks at both ears / stiles, repaired break along back of shoe, all support blocks are replaced, slightly loose wood element nailed at back upper part of splat, expected rubbing / wear to feet, slip seat appears to be old and with later staple reinforcements; chair with tassel carving: with several repaired breaks and mends to splat, both ears and stiles with repaired breaks, repaired break to back of shoe, all four corner blocks replaced, age cracks to front two corners of seat frame, old split loss at inner bottom edge of back of seat frame, front two legs ended out and with replaced feet- the left-facing front foot with repaired breaks at upper part of replaced foot, slip seat appears to be old and with later staple reinforcements, the slip seat incised "III", the inner part of seat frame incised "VI", the front right-facing foot missing knee return
