refinished; but with a nice even surface color throughout; the top is one board- appears to have been reinforced or secured to frame; the drawer runners have been reinforced / secured-- with some screws and glue present to interior; the right-facing side panel with some horizontal splits to wood commensurate with fluctuations in temperature; the right-facing back leg / stile with some separation at seam- the joint tightened; the front right-facing leg with repaired break at upper / inner corner; the front left-facing pad foot with mend; drawers glide easily- some drawer bottoms have been tightened- later tack nails present; the upper lip of long drawer with some patches; the brasses appear to be old or original- no additional screw holes; drop finials possibly replaced- the left-facing block for drop finial with a few minor repairs
