This sculpture is one of the figures from “Harrisburg Doors,” designed by Milles in 1938 to decorate the entrance door to the State Finance Building, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On the door, it is the third model down from the top (of 10 total models). The door bears the following inscription: “AND SHE IS PRAYING (TOO?)”
Overall: 28 3/4 x 15 3/4 x 8 3/4 in.
Dust has impacted in crevices of work. Minor scuffs and abrasion to metal. Small flecks of white soiling present to back plate. Bronze has begun to patina green. Additional images available upon request.
