Significant deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is very heavily wax-lined; faint stretcher bar marks around the image perimeter; network of craquelures throughout the surface; an approximately 4 inch repaired tear accompanied by inpainting in the center left, visible under close examination; instances of pinpoint black and brown stains in scattered areas. Under UV light: the aforementioned repaired tear fluoresces; minor areas of inpainting along the right edge, along the frame. Additional images available upon request.
