Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is wax-lined; craquelures scattered throughout the surface, as well as previous stretcher bar marks, all stabilized from the lining process; one pinpoint paint loss along the upper right extreme edge; gold paint deposits from the frame along the upper center edge; one line of inpainting extending from the center right edge, approximately 1 inch in length, visible under normal viewing conditions. Under UV light: the aforementioned line of inpainting fluoresces; small areas of inpainting scattered along the right, left, and lower edges, with a greater concentration of inpainting dots in the lower right corner; one small area of inpainting to the right of the church steeple, in the upper center.
