The present painting was part of The Forbes Collection at the Palais Mendoub, Tangiers, Morocco from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
Framed: 23 x 27 1/2 x 1 1/2 in.
Minor deposits of surface dust. Craquelure throughout. Scattered spots of loss in lower right quadrant, most notably at lower right corner. Puncture to canvas with associated loss at lower left above seated figure's shoulder. Under UV light: no apparent inpainting is visible. Additional images available upon request.
