Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust. Intermittent abrasions along extreme edges under frame. Canvas is loose on stretcher with associated undulation at top left corner, along top edge and at bottom right corner. Localized areas of craquelure in upper right quadrant and at center in clouds. One spot of loss at center right in ship's hull. Under UV light: evidence of inpainting at upper left corner, center left edge, and right extreme edge. Additional images available upon request.
