Framed: 32 x 40 in.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; craquelures throughout the surface, which appear mostly stable and are only visible under close viewing; minor wear along all edges; a few minor spots of inpainting along the edges and one spot along the upper right edge, visible under normal viewing conditions; under a thick, highly reflective varnish. Under UV light: the aforementioned areas of inpainting along the edges and along the upper right edge fluoresce; a small spot of inpainting along the center right edge; a thin horizontal line of inpainting along the lower right edge, extending approximately 6 inches; a small area of inpainting through the face of the woman in a red dress, in the center left background; additional small spots of inpainting in scattered areas of the surface.
