Framed: 35 1/2 x 43 1/2 in.
Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; craquelure scattered throughout the upper half; stretcher bar marks around the image perimeter and vertically though the center; a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch area of inpainting in the center, visible under close examination, but with no corresponding repair on the verso to indicate any past tears or holes. Under UV light: the aforementioned area in the center fluoresces; one 1 x 1 inch area of fluorescence in the lower left corner, beneath the bridge, which may indicate inpainting; additional fluorescence scattered through the trees and grass, but these areas do not appear to be inpainting and may be inherent to the pigment used.
