In overall fair/good condition, canvas has been mounted to panel and, then, backed by/affixed to aluminum. Moderate deposits of surface dust and debris, with stable craquelure present, most visibly in upper sky/upper register of composition. Various accretions, including a 1 1/2-inch area within lower left quadrant. A faint, hashmark pattern of rough canvas extending vertically from top center to bottom of canvas, with limited light retouching. UV: localized and broader passages of inpainting along upper edge (along/under frame), in upper right corner, intermittently along left edge, infrequently within sky and trees at left, lower center, and in lower left corner. A diagonal 9-10 inch line of additional inpainting in lower left corner, within water. Additional images available upon request.
