The unlined canvas in overall very good original condition. A faint-to-moderate stretcher bar impression visible across upper register of composition, within sky, approximately 1 3/4 inches from edge of frame. Minor and localized areas of craquelure within sky (around/near stretcher bar stress and in far upper left corner), all apparently stable and largely unobtrusive. Scattered areas of thinly applied paint which reveal the canvas, consistent with artist's technique. Remnants of old (dried) moisture visible on reverse, behind lower stretcher.
