Margaret “Peggie” Robinson (1944–2020) was the principal designer and jeweler behind Peggie Robinson Designs in Evanston, Illinois, where she crafted distinctive jewelry for nearly five decades. Inspired by African design and the work of innovative artists such as Alexander Calder, Robinson developed a style that was both expressive and wearable. She began in a home studio, gradually building a successful storefront and workshop that supported a team of skilled individuals. In 2005, she transitioned from retail back to a private studio, where she continued to design and make jewelry until her passing.
