Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Heavy tarnish throughout with scratches and bends consistent with age. One example with finely chased striping; the other with dimpling to the surface. Mythological subject matter of Hermes and Aegipan suggests the possibility of an original pairing, though differences in scale and execution leave this unconfirmed. Excellent chased detailing preserved throughout. Overall in fine and stable condition. See additional images.
