A striking studio view of Brule Lakota peace Chief Swift Bear (1827-1909), son of Lone Wolf. By 1865, he was the second ranking chief of the Brules. In 1870, Swift Bear traveled with Spotted Tail and Yellow Hair to the first Brulé Delegation in Washington, DC to see President U.S. Grant.
