AN ELABORATE FORE-EDGE PAINTING depicting the death of Admiral Horatio Nelson, who was killed aboard his flagship the HMS Victory on 21 October 1805 at the Battle of Trafalgar, and is based on The Death of Nelson by Daniel Maclise, painted between 1859-1864 and now in the collection of the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
