LIMITED EDITION, number 232 of 750 copies, SIGNED BY PAZ AND MOTHERWELL. Robert Motherwell was first introduced to the poetry of Octavio Paz while an undergraduate at Stanford University. It was to Paz and James Joyce in particular that Motherwell would credit his interest in modernism, a style which would influence Motherwell’s visual art through the rest of his life.
