A Group of Three Liverpool Transfer-Decorated Table Items

comprising a pitcher, one side decorated with American ship, the other side depicting Fame, George Washington securing Liberty to America, and Wisdom and Justice dictating to Benjamin Franklin; a mug depicting the American Ship, The True Blooded Yankee; and a bowl, the well depicting The Sailor's Return, signed in print, "J. Johnson", l.l., the inner rim decorated with various panoplies of tools of maritime navigation and war, the exterior with alternating bucolic landscape scenes and Poseidon and Aphrodite surrounded by mythological creatures.
