relatively stable and sturdy; the top with some crackling, some minor areas of hazing and touch-ups commensurate with age and use; the top with a couple breaks and small losses to inset brass ring, one broken end of the ring has come loose and is bent upward; the inset printed paper floral spray with some losses; two cranes with repaired breaks to upper necks and beaks, some a bit fragile, and the 3rd crane with a break to leg and split along base of feet- the break to leg slightly loose; the base with some minor knicks and scrapes commensurate with age and use; overall the ebonized finish shows nice, typical patination indicative of age; the gilt metal beading with some patination commensurate with age
