A Queen Anne Carved Walnut Bonnet-Top High Chest of Drawers
Possibly Shop of Benjamin Frothingham (1734-1809), Charlestown, Massachusetts, Circa 1760-1780
in two parts, the upper section with broken arch pediment, surmounted by three turned finials, over three short drawers, above four graduated long drawers, the lower section with molded top, over a long drawer, above three short drawers, the middle short drawer carved with fan, shaped apron with drop finials, cabriole legs ending in pad feet, the interior back of upper case with old chalk inscription, "Dr. Lorring" (?).
