Overall fine and ready to place condition. Each with scattered pitting to the glaze throughout, consistent with firing, few other minor firing flaws visible. The plate has a minor chip to the tree in the top left of the subject. Each plate has a 9” diameter, and a depth of 1 5/8”. One plate with a chip to the top rim at 12 o’clock. The other, under UV light, shows minor filling on the lower portion of the rim, around 7 o’ clock. No other signs of restoration under UV light. Minor, scattered residue buildup noted on the top surface of the plates, likely due to prior inventory stickers. Scattered, occasional scratching to the basins of the soup plate, consistent with age and use.
