presents well, in nice overall condition, the gilding with a nice patinated surface, having some occasional age cracks and darkened areas commensurate with age; with some probable areas of retouching to gilding, primarily to mirror surround, with some small losses to carved leafage, and a few small repairs: to upper left-facing leaf, to one of the leaves to base of candle-arm; candle-arms screwed in but can be detached; one candle-arm with bobeche that has threading worn, rests on top; with cut glass candle-cups and crystal prisms, one candle-cup missing two prisms; mirror plate appears to have some faint flecking indicative of some age; eagle and black inset surround likely repainted
