Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; network of craquelures throughout, visible only under raking light; inpainting along all margins, visible under normal viewing conditions; under a thick and reflective varnish. Under UV light: the aforementioned lines of inpainting in the margins fluoresce, as well as a slightly larger area of inpainting in the lower right corner edge; strokes of inpainting to the nymph's head and torso, with larger areas of inpainting to her right hand and feet; an approximately 1 x 1 inch of inpainting to the left of the figure; small retouches throughout the upper half of the composition.
