The present Lot will be on view at Freeman's Upper East Side galleries located at 32 E. 67th St in New York, May 6-11, 10am-5pm weekdays; 11am-5pm Saturday, May 9; closed Sunday, May 10.
The Association Félix Ziem (Mathias Ary Jan and David Pluskwa) has confirmed the authenticity of the work and a certificate no. 128/1015, dated October 8, 2015, will be given to the purchaser.

Framed: 15 1/2 x 20 1/2 in.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; under an unevenly applied, yellowed varnish that is highly reflective; pinpoint brown stains throughout, primarily mostly visible within the sky; one pinpoint paint loss along the lower right edge; one white paint droplet in the lower left corner. Under UV light: the brown stains fluoresce but do not appear to be inpainting; the thick varnish layer prohibits viewing of any apparent inpainting that might be present.
