Philadelphia: Gutekunst. -- Hand-painted, oval-length portrait on cardstock mount, with penciled notation on verso, erroneously identifying the officer as "General Edward Price." Previous owner tentatively identified the subject as General Samuel Woodson Price of the 21st Kentucky Infantry, who was also a successful portrait painter. (Mount and print trimmed along edges).
