Boston: Proctor's Room, G.H. Loomis, Silsbee Case & Co., C. Seaver, Allen, Whipple, Black & Case, Hale; Bushby & Hart (Lynn, MA); Claflin (Worcester, MA); H.F. Warren (Waltham, MA); and Hurd (South Adams, MA). Conditions generally good to very good, with occasional toning, soiling, and edge and corner wear to mounts. Some mounts trimmed.

View with 3-cent revenue stamp on verso purportedly came from the personal album of Charles J. Miller, Harvard, 1860 (as per consignor's notes). -- 3 CDVs, James Jackson Lowell, 20th MA Infantry, WIA Glendale and died of wounds. Whipple (Boston). Friend to 54th MA Colonel Robert Gould Shaw. -- 3 CDVs, Charles Russell Lowell, 2nd MA Cavalry, WIA Cedar Creek and died of wounds. Two poses by Black & Case (Boston), one pose by Allen (Boston).
