Creasing from old folds, two inch tear along horizontal fold at left margin; scattered foxing and offsetting; paper loss at bottom margin.
War-date document boldly signed by Founding Father Patrick Henry (1736-1799).
John Poage (1726-1789) served in a Virginia Regiment of Militia from Augusta County during the Revolutionary War.
