Both appearing in overall good, stable, and attractive condition. Wear to the finish on the arms consistent with use. Leather is intact, but with scuffs and fading consistent with use. One chair has some extra leather hanging from the underside; could be trimmed. No missing nail heads. Constructed using methods consistent with the Louis XIII period, but the wood does not appear to be nearly that old, and some of the wear may be simulated to make the chairs appear older.
