There is overall wear and some staining to the paper surfaces. The globe does not spin freely on the spindle and there is wear and some tearing to the top and bottom of the globe where it is set on the spindle. The legs have two old repairs at the join with the stem. The compass' glass oculus has been reset, there is visible old damage and repairs, the glass has two cracks. The compass' paper liner has a few tears.
