Appearing in overall fair, sturdy, and ready to place condition. Age splits running horizontally across both sides of the case. Age split in the wood on the top of the case, not visible when marble top is in place. Drawers open and close smoothly, but would benefit from the addition of drawer stops to ensure that they close evenly and flush to the case. Drawers are lined with striped cotton fabric. Escutcheons are replacements. No key is present for the locks. The marble top is intact, but with surface scratches and chips to the edges, especially to the underside.
