Good. Bore about good, partly bright with good rifling and shows scattered dark oxidation and some pitting. Barrel with a mostly plum brown patina, some of which is likely thinned and oxidized blue, mixed with some surface roughness and scattered age discoloration. Receiver with some scattered surface roughness and some light pitting and with a similar brownish plum patina as found on the barrel. Markings on top of receiver remain legible. Mechanically functional action. Wood with moderate wear, showing use and with the usual grain crack in the butt along the line of the magazine tube, running about 3.5" from the buttplate towards the action on the obverse. Forend with the retention screw replaced and some wood filler in the area where the screw escutcheon used to be, which is now missing. Otherwise wood with scattered bumps, dings and mars from service and use.
