Very Good to Near Fine. Bore fine and bright with strong multi-groove rifling and the standard smoothbore section at the muzzle for about 1.5". Metal with much of the thinning and fading arsenal brown finish intact, showing moderate wear and loss. Breechblock with some nice dull case color and a mottled gray and bluish appearance. Markings remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Wood crisp and sharp with much of the original feathery texture present and showing some scattered minor bumps, dings and mars.
